If you watch the scene closely, you can see the guy handling the dogs standing over by Sansa several times as he, the dogs, and Sansa all watch the fighting. He and the dogs disappear right around the time that Theon stabs the last guy, so he clearly ran off witht he dogs back to winterfell. People will sure nitpick this show over the tiniest of details.
