By the numbers, KC ran the ball well enough in 3 of the first 5 games.. some may say 4 out of 5. The problem early on that I recall.. and that Football Outsiders noted during that time.. was that KC was in the lower tier of teams in rush success rate.. which was an indication of poor consistency ( could and did rip off some nice gainers, but mixed with plenty of runs stuffed ). I blame this on Andy's play selections as much as the OL blocking.
I do like the idea of a balanced offense though. I'm frequently complaining about the lack of Anthony Sherman leading the way too.
