I knew somebody would say that, and it's pretty lame as far as justifications go. What you're saying is that she's too distracted to give a shit about the death of her one and only daughter. Even Cercei isn't that self-absorbed.
In any case, it's not really about Cercei - it's just bad writing. They dropped the ball. Initially by killing her in the first place for what had to be shock value and then later by going nowhere with it. Just pointless.
But hey, if that's the worst thing I can point to during the season, things are going pretty well...
And yes, I think it was worse than everything with Arya. Mainly because I liked everything with Arya.
I liked Dorne. At least in the books. Aside from Oberon they've pretty much screwed that all up on the show. I certainly liked it more than anything with Daenerys in Mereen, although maybe Winds of Winter will do the second siege justice.
