Tywin was not even in whole books. He defintely wasn't an advisor to Danerys. His scenes are some of the best in the whole GOT.
Brienne and Jon are still dead in the books.
Bronn was out in the books after they got through Blackwater.
We spent 500 pages of Stanis druging through the snow to get to Wiinterfell. Another 500 pages deciding who would lead the Iron Islands.

Lots of water has to pass under the bridge before Jamie/Danerys ride off into the sunset. Like forgiving him for killing her Dad. Cleagnebowl has to happen to remove the Mountain before Cersi can be killed. The war not going so good in the conquering phase to make her tilt towards Jamie. Jamie has to forgive Tywin for freeing him and then he kills his Dad.
