My worry is that Kelce, Maclin, Smith and Houston are all on long-term deals that are both expensive AND not necessarily deals you can or would want to escape. Then you have Berry, Poe, Fisher and maybe Howard coming up behind it.

At some point, you actually DO run out of rope. Keeping all these guys next year, even if we really really wanted to, seems like it's outside of the realm of possibility. We're already over next year's cap and that's without figures for Berry or Poe in there. It's also with very little in the way of clearable cap space. Charles, Colquitt and Mauga are the only places to find a decent amount of cap space to clear.
