Exhibition game or not, if a player(s) health is on the line and the officiating isn't enforcing it, I would damn do something about it if another team is going to cheap shotting my guys.
The players responded by going on a 21-11 run to close the game. The tactic, while poor in professionally mannered, worked to win the game because it gave the players that the coach had your back if things were not going your way because of shoddy officiating.
Hell, Frank Martin was notorious for doing it as well.

Eh, no. Dude lost his ****ing mind. He shoved players and Coaches to get to the refs. You can try and justify this 9 ways to Sunday, but you just don't handle your business like that. It was an embarrassing display any way you cut it. And, "worked to win the game"? LOL. Really? Yay, we won a meaningless exhibition game in front of a crowd of 12. Yippeeee!
No, what this proved is what I already knew about the guy after being around him a bunch times here in Wichita - he's a ****ing nut case. He's a FANTASTIC Coach. There is no doubt about that. But, he's a weird ****ing dude for sure.
