I've said that I still love Berry, and appreciate everything he's done, I'm just not going to ignore the facts. It's the Berry nuthuggers that can't possibly listen to some criticism of their cancer survivor hero that are acting like children. They're acting like I've called him the anti-Christ. Berry's handled the contract dispute like a dick. Why is that so wrong to say?

Because it's wrong. He isn't handling like a dick. You're being a bleeding vagina who thinks every professional should just bend over and spread their cheeks so that potential employers don't even have to aim.
Berry held out for the best contract he can get. Now he is not obliged to show up at all. But all reports indicate he will around the third preseason game, as is industry standard. Being a dick would be signing a contract, then holding out because you regret not getting more.
Justin Houston would have done the exact same thing. It's stupid not to.
But you have some bizarre sense of entitlement where you think NFL players should feel honored just to have the opportunity to entertain you. Eric Berry holding out of camp doesn't hurt anyone - if anything, it helps get the rookie DBs more reps in his absence.
And yes, Derrick Johnson said point blank on 810 that he talks to EB all the time. So your theory if radio silence is erroneous.
Additionally, your social media theory is so ****ing reeruned that no one should stoop low enough to refute it, but since you take that as an absence of argument, allow me to retort.
In my work, I am hired via contract. Those contracts are negotiated via representation (agents, lawyer). My last contract actually garnered some hype. No one on this website cares, but there is a chance your wives or mothers sure do. It actually garnered news, and people were posting about it on social media.
I didn't.
Wanna know why?
BECAUSE WHEN YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS, YOU DONT POST A BUNCH OF SHIT ABOUT YOUR POTENTIAL EMPLOYER.
Also, I don't particularly like social media, so I stay off it.
I love the project I was hired for. I popped champagne corks and danced in the street when I got it... And when I signed.
If some ****ing twat out there said I didn't care about it, because they never saw me tweet about it, they would deserve every internet flame up imaginable for having the dumbest ****ing take in weeks.
