If you want to catch a movie, Wichita has some of the best theaters in the country (Warren Theatres). They serve food/adult beverages to your seat at the one in Old Town. I believe the East Warren has a balcony that has recliners/couches where you can also be served, but it's fairly pricey.
If you like nature, the zoo is one of the best in the country. There's also another zoo/wildlife preserve called Tanganyika Wildlife Park that's pretty cool. Both are on the west side of Wichita though.
If you're into arts/musicals, Mamma Mia! is at Century II Fri/Sat/Sun.
Someone already mentioned Kansas Star Casino.
Also North Rock Lanes is a really nice bowling alley with an AJ Bar and Grill that sells some of the best pizza in town.
Exploration Place is a science museum in downtown, although it's primarily aimed at families/kids. It's basically some science exhibits, and they also have a small dome theater where they show science/nature related movies (mostly documentries). They usually have a 'traveling' exhibit there, which I believe is currently some dinosaur exhibit. There are a few other small museums in Wichita (Old Cowntown Museum, Museum of World Treasures, Botanica Gardens).
As for BBQ, there's B & C, Hog Wild, Bite Me BBQ, Pig In Pig Out, and there's a Two Brother BBQ not far from the East Mariott (it's somewhat of a dive though).
Other good places to eat; The Anchor (as mentioned), Bricktown Brewery, Old Town Brewery, Wichita Brewing Co & Pizzeria, Dempsey's Pub, Fizz Burgers, Tanya’s Soup Kitchen, Bonefish Grill, Public, Pumphouse, Red Rock Canyon Grill, Sabor Latin Bar & Grill. If price isn't a concern, Greystone Steak and Seafood, Scotch & Sirloin, AVI, Newport Grill.
Misc. things: The Loony Bin Comedy Club, Mosley Street Melodrama, a few escape rooms.
Also, if you are staying at the East Mariott, be warned there is a lot of construction going on in that area.
Edit: If you're staying at the Marriott Courtyard at like 2900 N. Webb, there shouldn't be any major construction there.
