They did a nice job filling in the run game even though LeSean made his own yards sometimes, but the pass rush was not there. They leave a lot of room for the QB to scramble. Tyrod had ample time to scan the field all night against the Jets.

The Jets have run a very interesting style of defense highlighting their D Line. Often not even using any OLBs. The Jets D is a true hybrid style defense. Hard to prepare for because they have so many different looks. They have Mauldin as an outside rusher as well as Catapano. They have been running a 4-3 and using Catapano primarily on 1st downs as a run stopper along with 2 MLBs Harris and Henderson. When Catapano was with KC rumors were he routinely killed Fisher in practice, so it will be interesting to see if they let him rush against his old team since there is familiarity there. Mauldin has been used as the outside rusher on passing downs when they are using their OLBs. Very interesting style defense. They sprinkle in Darron Lee as well in various ways. Jordan Jenkins also figures to be back in the mix as he is healthy now after nursing a calf injury.
