And again, missing the point entirely with Sean Smith. He's been beat even worse than Gaines, and he's STILL missing tackles ALSO. He's also A LOT more expensive. Things could be much worse.
As a younger/cheaper corner, Gaines is an ideal/good replacement. That's all you can really ask for this early in the process of his return from ACL surgery, and his development. Instead of seeing it that way, you choose to overreact about a few missed tackles and ignore some good ones/efforts.

That's why you're a homer. Because discussing weaknesses of certain players, to you, is over-reacting. Do you see me calling O-city or anyone else a homer?
No.
This is a long, drawn out argument, that's probably not very entertaining anymore, because you can't handle the Chiefs being criticised.
I have no vendetta against Gaines, or any Chief for that matter. I have a list of things i'd love to see the Chiefs improve on. That's not over reacting. That's discussing football. Pointing out that Gaines is an average player with some serious holes in his game is not over-reacting. It's an observation. After 3 games, it's a pattern.
This is far from a perfect team. Certain players have certain weaknesses and there's nothing wrong with acknowledging those issues and discussing them, as they'll need to be addressed if this team is going to go anywhere.
But that's your M.O though. You can't stomach any criticism of the Chiefs. Instead, you need to argue incessantly about it.
You think i haven't watched you do it with other posters? Your shtick is well known. It's played out. It's about as predictable as GoChiefs using PFF to shit on players.
Like i said, i brought it up in week 1, and to you, i was full of it. We saw it occur again in week 2, this time with the game on the line, and again, you fail to acknowledge it. He has holes in his game that he needs to fix, whether you want to act like a pussy about it or not.
