Yes, they are definitely overpriced for what you are actually getting.

On the flipside, they're a good bed, in general. You spend roughly a third of your life sleeping, so how much is a good night's sleep worth ? People spend far less time in their car and don't blink for a second at spending 10 or 20 times more.
