I think the thought underlying is that it indicates that you're taking arguments a little too seriously to maintain decorum.
If you're arguing with someone and they pop off an 'ahhhh, **** yer mother.' That's just heated rhetoric.
If you're arguing with someone and they pop off 'be a shame if your daughter Suzy went missing from JFK Elementary after school at 2:30 pm today.' That's a level of specificity and personal detail to violate BB standards.
Same as the difference between 'Alex needs to go' and 'glad he got his head stir-fried, maybe now he'll forget how to get back to Arrowhead stadium any more.'
And I'm speaking in generalities. I have no interest in researching Claynus' specific infraction.
