No...you couldn't maintain that level of energy if you knew it was for naught.
The officials absolutely dictate games....and anyone that thinks otherwise simply chooses to ignore it.
KC gets off the field on a few of those drives and they win...instead of a third down pass conversion they are slapped with a 10 yard penalty.
It was glaring to me...I was watching that facet all game.
It was almost halftime before the first penalty was thrown...the commentators mentioned it would have been the only time this season that happened....160 games.
