It's a sign to quit watching...because I'm not able to suspend my disbelief long enough to feel the childlike wonder required to not realize that I'm being played for a ****ing chump.
It's time to stop watching because I'm not going to give the NFL my money anymore, and therefore am not the demographic the NFL caters to these days.
It's time to stop watching because the NFL is watered down shit, right down to officials dictating the outcome through bad/non calls, on par with other sports entertainment (like pro wrestling)
It's time to stop watching because the game isn't for me anymore, and I simply have better things to do with my life each fall Sunday.
