We were sitting next to a bucs fan and he was laughing about it the whole game (really cool guy, though). We'd let Ware try to smash it up the middle and he's thank us for it. He says the off-tackle runs have been gouging them all season but the one area they've been consistently strong at is defeating the power run game.
Now it could just be fan perception, I have no idea. But it sure seemed to hold true yesterday. The lanes up the middle just weren't there except for on the Wildcat play. Yet on the rare occasions that Reid ran the ball, that's where he ran it.

When a team plays that bad all the way around, it's usually because of bad coaching and a bad game plan. The offense didn't play bad overall like the defense did. But they played bad at the critical points in the game.
If one person is to be blamed for yesterday it's Reid. I would say Coaching in general though. The game plan\play calling on both sides of the ball stunk and stunk bad.
I wonder if they thought they could go vanilla and win to hide stuff from Denver next week?
