I think it has something to do with all of the hormones in our meat and milk these days, lotta kids are physically maturing much faster than they used to
For instance, back in my high school football days it was almost unheard for a team to have some 6'3 300 pounder, and when you did see one he was an extreme outlier freak to be marveled at... these days it seems like almost every team has a few like that
