I should have been more clear-- by him never really playing, I just know that if he was watching a corner he would only be looking for whether a catch was made or not, or if the corner made a play. He wouldn't really be able to differentiate the responsibilities of playing different coverages and why the player did certain things, right or wrong. I'm not sure anyone can completely though without knowing the defensive play call.
