We whiffed on the position.
We needed to keep Sean Smith OR sign someone equivalent to him. Not just statwise but size too so he could handle the bigger guys when we needed it.
We did neither.
Everyone around here thought Gaines could do it, apparently the Chiefs did too.
HUGE mistake.
We also didn't sign another pass rusher and that is hurting us. Ford has turned it around which is great. We still need another pass rusher though.
