Good results to be sure, but this trend on the board to say we should score "x" amount to set up a preemptive attack on Smith and the offense is silly. It's also not even necessary. There are plenty of issues you can take with the offense without having to set a bar so high for the offense that you are almost guaranteed to come back saying "told you so".

The point is, most teams that face the Falcons say, "Hopefully our [insert competent QB] can outscore Matt Ryan." Our prayers around here are that we get a few lucky breaks, win the turnover battle, Ware has a huge game, or other random 90s cliches. It's ****ing pathetic that we have
ZERO ability to expect our QB to, you know, actually compete with the opponent QB.
