And it didn't give Brady in his prime a chance.
This is ridiculous sophistry. Pretending the Giants playoff D was middle of the road and Smith was the only one who underperformed against them, when they beat everyone they faced on the backs of their D and Smith was the highest performing QB among those they faced.
That isn't defending Smith, that's just reality.
