However, your point is well taken in that the crux of the item you bring up is how one interprets "family matter". My only point is that of Berry not being a BSer.
I'll be honest, initially I was against paying Berry (or any safety for that matter) huge dollars as the position just doesn't typically merit such an investment. That said, I've certainly changed my mind regarding Berry. He's shown he is a play-maker, a damn fine safety......and a team leader. Guys like this don't grow on trees.

Yea don't take it the wrong way. There may be something going on, but the only reason I said that is because this interview was at a youth program today. I just don't think he had any intention in playing in the pro bowl, and I think it would have been foolish to. Not bashing the guy at all.. obviously a fan
