Apparently the bloody handprint we see in the trailer isn't from Kong, but another, much larger member of his species. He's likely to grow a bit.. A lotta bit.

I've also read that he's seriously agile in the movie, which you can easily see translating to him maneuvering around a cityscape or larger monster like Godzilla (Kong climbs buildings, Godzilla basically is a building).

He also uses weapons.
