I think it's a small thing because it caused me no harm, but I was in a restaurant today and two people brought dogs in. Both times the owner said, "Hey, dogs aren't allowed", and both people said, "It's a service dog." The owner then said, "there's no service dog coat" and they said, "I didn't bring it." Last Saturday in the park, I was running on the trail and one of the Rangers pulled up to a woman near me and very politely said, "Ma'am, your dog is required to be on a leash in the park." As I ran by, I heard the woman say, "I'm just finishing up and going to my car." The Ranger then reiterated his polite request. Hey, dimwit, it's not an option. It's a rule so your sweet little mutt won't go out of control and attack someone, which has happened to me more than once on my runs.
When did dog owners become loathsome, selfish, self-centered, inconsiderate, lying pieces of human excrement? I always thought that dog owners were cool, but in the modern world they've apparently become loathsome, selfish, self-centered, inconsiderate, lying pieces of human excrement.
