Cleveland gets -- Osweiler, Houston 2017 6th round pick and 2018 2nd round pick.

Houston gets -- Cleveland 2017 4th round pick, and gets rid of Oweiler's contract.


Cleveland, with MAMMOTH cap space, pays Osweiler for one year of his deal/salary and gets a 2nd round pick in a very deep draft out of it. NBA-style trade. Pretty smart.

Cleveland now has 2 1sts and 3 2nds in a draft everyone says is great. Plenty of ammo to trade for Garoppolo or whoever they want at QB. Osweiler doesn't solve the QB issue, as everyone knows.
