If there is a time jump it's going to piss a lot of people off, but it's probably for the best.

The show's current environment needs a refresh. Advancing what looks to be 10-15 years will introduce a lot of new ideas for writers to explore.

Also it's probably a sign the show is definitely going at least two or three more seasons.
