The dagger that Bran gave to Arya is pictured in one of the books Sam was reading about when the White Walkers were last defeated. It also said Targaryens often decorated their weapons with dragon glass(like the Catspaw dagger is). The one who defeats the White Walkers again is also supposed to be from the Targaryen bloodline. That might not be the flaming sword "light bringer", but it may still have a bigger role to play(again).
