After each throw- Andy took notes and coached him on every one of them. Instant feedback from one of the best coaches in the NFL- how valuable is that in his development?

From reports, Andy is hammering the pocket skills every play to Pat.
He knows Pat can play outside the structure of the offense. He's working on getting Pat to play structured ball from the pocket.
Calling plays, using correct technique, finding the mike LB, adapting to changes by the defense (zone, blitz, etc) and utilizing the playbook. This is the biggest reason Alex is the unquestioned starter right now, and it's all learned through experience.
Pat has grown so much since his first OTA practice in May 3 months ago. It would be ideal to give him another 3 months of practice before Andy even thinks about this kid being ready to play.
