You know what else Ned said? He who passes the sentence should swing the sword. I wonder if they are foreshadowing something there? Not sure what it would be. Ned and Robb both did it and died but so did Jon and he's alive. Well maybe. He hasn't done it since he died.
The other thing that stood out to me was there was some tremendous acting. Dinklage, Harrington, Heady and Nickolaj whatever-whatever in particular. My god that was compelling television. Particularly when Jamie dumped Cersei. There was a lot of emotion and acting all executed outside of dialogue primarily with facial expression. That is a difficult thing to do. Especially with so many different people relying on it. Bash the writing all you want but mother****er the performances are top notch.
