This is a great point. My parents live in a house on the inside of a sharp curve that's on a somewhat steep hill. The outside neighbors end up rebuilding their retaining walls on a yearly basis due to crashes, (the road gets icy in the winter and the speed limit signs don't make a difference).
The best thing to do would be to teach the kids to respect the roads and stay away from the dangerous areas.
