Ten Things about Today’s Game: Week 11: NYG 12 - KC 9
10. So if you're expecting optimistic Blowfish, stop reading now, because this effort was nothing but a gutless abortion by your Kansas City Chiefs.
Another year and another game to add to the Chiefs Trophy Cabinet of 47 years
9. Dan Fouts die horrible, lingering painful death.
And Eli had probably ten balls dropped on him.
Because Chiefs.
---Fouts was wrong with 90% of his comments. He is the WORST broadcaster I've ever seen. He is to broadcasting as Philip Gaines is to cornerback! How's that for an analogy!
---Giants receivers had balls hit them squarely in the hands and dropped them all game. We were lucky and I thought that would be a sign of us winning but I was dead wrong!
---Yes once again, Because Chiefs
8. Alex checks down and checks down and checks down.
Smith didn’t even try for the end zone or throw the ball past the sticks.
This is a one win team we're playing, remember?
---Alex has put his blinders back on and can't see past 6-7 yards. He once again had guys break open and missed seeing them including DAT who got 5 steps past his coverage going on an up and out side route.
---No attempts in the Red Zone into the end zone. That is pathetic!
---A one win team with SEVENTEEN PLAYERS ON INJURED RESERVE!!!
7. So Alex gets the ball back, throws long at Hill, who has his guy beat by three steps, but Hill has to wait for the pass because it’s woefully under thrown. Hill adjusts and comes down with the ball at the Giants 15 yard line.
Another poor underthrow to go with two passes that came up 6 yards short on 20 yard passes!
4. The defense held Manning to 205 passing and gave up only 112 rushing.
Every team in the league knows if you want to beat KC you just throw up a jump ball, and either your guy catches it, or he’ll draw a DPI.
Wile E. Reid however, refuses to throw the ball into the end zone inside the red zone.
The defense went another week without a sack.
Just an anemic, pathetic effort in overtime by the defense to allow an 82 yard scoring drive.
---Defense didn't hold Manning to 205 yards passing, Giants' receivers dropped at least 100 yards of catches to limit Manning. They were open all over the field.
---Our secondary is complete shit and Marcus Peters couldn't tackle a obese Girl Scout with one leg.
---Not sure what the hell is in Andy's head.
The red zone calls are abysmal!
---We have NO PASS RUSH AND NO PENETRATION. There is no way to dominate or win in the NFL if you give a good to excellent QB 5-7 seconds to throw. Either he completes the pass or the defensive gets tired and holds a guy who breaks open.
3. Special teams were terrible too. There’s been too many damn penalties on punt returns.
We can’t stop a fake punt on 4th and two. Everybody in the stadium knew it was coming.
---Too many penalties everywhere and they never seem to be a false start on 1st and 10 at the 40 but a defensive holding on 3rd and 15 or a block in the back after a 35 yard punt return. Killing ourselves and that is 100% on the coaching
---EVERYBODY AND I MEAN EVERYBODY but the CHIEEEEFFFFFSSSSSS knew it was coming!
2. I couldn’t bring myself to listen to Wile E’s post game presser. Reid is supposed to be a genius coming off the bye week.
It was Matt Casshole all over again.
---This was the worst coached game in the Andy Reid era. If yo played Monday night and flew east and had a bad start, I could see that. But after a bye week and to play so dead and tired with those awful play calls? Hunt so underused.
---Yes, Alex Smith has gone into regression since the Steelers smacked his junk in.
1. So, we’ve lost four of the last five. The AFC West is a weak division. One team will come out of it; it might be us, and whoever wins will get smoked in the first round of the playoffs.
All I can say is, Happy Thanksgiving to all of us abused long suffering Chiefs fans; burn the game tape on this one, and let’s hope for better with some home cooking next week.
---We were never as good as 5-0 and we aren't as bad as 1-4. The pundits had us in the Super Bowl after 5-0 and I knew that was the kiss of death. They also had the AFC West as the toughest division and now they look like one of the weakest. IF we make the playoffs, we could even lose the first game at home. I have zero confidence in our ability and Andy Reid.
