And I don't agree that the players have given up on VJ. I think they've given up on the offense. It's disheartening when nearly every time the defense forces a turnover or 3-and-out, the offense or ST's immediately gives the ball back.
The defense comes out fired up every week, but the rest of the team just can't stop messing up.
