This week's polls haven't come out yet have they? I suspect they won't stay ranked.
As for Mizzou - they got zero votes in the AP last week and only a couple in the coaches' poll. Seems unlikely that they'd get ranked by virtue of beating a couple of mediocre mid-majors...
Gotta beat more teams that matter. I know the RPI is good and I know the schedule is tougher in a computer model than it looks on paper. But how it looks on paper is what gets you votes from a generally detached AP voters bloc (and a bunch of SID's voting for their coach in the coaches' poll).
It's just not something worth worrying about. Conference play was always going to be where the rubber hit the road with this squad and it will tell us who they are. The selection committee leans heavily on RPI so we're in nice shape there with no ground lost for March.
