It's even more bizarre when you look at how conservative the playcalling was for the entire second half up to that point.
Instead of going for an aggressive
but smart play (let's say 10-15 yards), they go for a 40 yarder into coverage with a safety waiting to blow it up. Very strange decision from the HC/OC/QB.
