Teicher also first journalist to make a definitive confirmation that Smith won't be the starter next year? I've seen a lot of speculation and inferences, but nothing quite this definitive:

" The Kansas City Chiefs will soon be taking a step they haven’t in many years by installing a young player, Patrick Mahomes II, as their new starting quarterback."

Chiefs should not confirm this until after Smith has been traded. Will hurt trade market. Trading starts March 14th.
