Whatever the Jags have to offer to outbid Cleveland, they should do it for sure. We all know windows close fast in the NFL once the younger talent hits FA and wants / deserves to be paid. Teams can unravel real fast. Alex would come pretty cheap as far as a top 10 qb goes and would put them over the top IMO.

He has no direct say - KC can trade him anywhere. That said, with only a year left on his deal, if the trading partner wants to negotiate a longer term deal prior to the trade, Smith could refuse to negotiate.
