KC drafts him hoping they can work with him - then trade him while still on a rookie deal.
30 NFL teams have no interest in a young, Pro Bowl, shutdown player at arguably the 2nd most important position in the game - including a team that has something like 37 picks this year and infinite cap space - whose personnel department just happens to be run by the guy that drafted said player.
I understand people flipping shit over this - but good Christ - think about how BAD it had to be behind the curtain for it to get to this point.
Dude was obviously a problem, and didn't want to be here.
He gets his wish, and we move on. Maybe the 3rd time is the charm for LA and they can control the kid.

This thread has been quiet entertaining....and highly disappointing at times. And all before any of us know the truth about why and what we get in return. A lot of speculation and "storming the castle" comments that allow people to vent their rage.
I am like you after reading all of this....ready to move on. Whatever it is that Peters has done to make him not wanted here in KC (or many other places for that matter) must be enough to move him. What we get in return will tell the tale of whether or not we got hosed or we came out even/ahead of the deal.
I was not against moving Peters before this and I am not angry that they have now. NO player should be "untouchable" save for a valued QB or RB.
And before Hamas comes in and calls me on it....yes I would have no problem moving Kelce for the right package. It's pretty evident that the Officials have a trigger finger when it comes to his antics and, while Reid may have finally convinced him to lose that attitude, it's still there waiting to get out on the first bad call. The right package would have to be something like Cleveland's #4 and #35 this year along with a 2nd or 3rd round next. (I'm not giving him away)
Oh, and to tell you how weird the world has flipped over right now.....
The Women's Pair won Gold in Cross Country earlier in the week and a group called "The Rejects" won Men's Curling Gold for the US.
Who would have thought?
