I remember Grunhard talking on Petro's show saying that the one thing you just absolutely do NOT do as a Chiefs employee or player is embarrass the organization (meaning the Hunts). Now, you can debate as to if that is why the Chiefs aren't contenders year in and year out - because the organization is more concerned with "character guys" than guys that can actually go win you games, but it was apparent that Marcus' future in KC was in jeopardy after they suspended him. To me, at least.
