I completely disagree.
The Chiefs gave Marcus Peters an opportunity to earn 1st round money and a contract extension if he played well. He played well enough in 2015 and 2016 but his quality of play dropped off in 2017.
His play, in a vacuum, is absolutely no reason to trade him, especially without trading him for a premium return.
Marcus Peters bears responsibility for his actions on the field and off the field. Four Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalties, jawing with the fans, throwing a flag into the stands and quitting on his team have absolutely NOTHING to do with Andy Reid, his coaching staff, the front office and ownership.
His petulant behavior lies solely on the shoulders of Marcus Peters, The Chiefs Franchise and its players are not responsible for keeping Peters "in line".
