They are probably qualifying the word pleased with the idea that if they didn't trade him they would get nothing. Except he would still be on the field and they would probably get a 3rd round comp pick for him.
Sorry, but if it was just based on Marcus Peters the player, we'd be talking extension already. Fact of the matter is Peters is such a cancerous presence that it knocks off a fair bit of the compensation we should receive.
