I get this, but teams also like to go into the draft with as few holes as possible. It makes picking good players easier. No reason to force a pick out of need. KC especially likes this strategy.
It doesn't seem to make a lot of sense that not one team has come to a middle ground compromise with any of these three guys. Even if it were on a one year deal.
