I think Herrera is the best of the rental chips. Not sure 2/3 of a season of a reliever - even one with an elite history pitching as well as Herrera - is enough on its own to warrant a top 100 piece back, depends on market. But I think you could get a piece back in the fringes of the 100. That’s helpful.
Moustakas’ only potential landing spot really seems to be Atlanta, barring an injury to another contender.
And as for Merrifield and Duffy... both stocks are a little down right now. Merrifield’s start is good in that he has continue to show good SLG and exit velocity. Needs to pick his average back up a bit to get his value up.
That’s a tough spot. To move either of them - or Perez - the return needs to be bullet proof... and I’m not sure those type of returns are out there anymore.
