My wife took me to a dinner party on the 4th, and the hosts didn't offer Pibb or Dr. Pepper. They didn't even have Coke or Pepsi. All they had was wine, so I got some ice water.
Similarly, I'll note that it's really hard to be the new couple at a dinner party where the other six people have all known each other forever and are all extroverts.
