How about this Cayman?
These pics were taken May 20+21, 2006 and I drove the Cayman GTR 987, (a 295-hp, 3.4-liter flat-six) the day before the below Spyder won American Lemans at Mid Ohio. Bad ass ride and since I have an SLK I liked the smaller size.
Nice pics.

Have been looking at the turbo 996 but also annoyed with them still holding their value so much for a car that old and have the headlight look problem. The racing Metzger engine and a manual has some appeal.

Really like the Cayman but haven't driven one and seems to have the problem of Porche nutering them to not intrude on the 911. The GT4 being an exception and they are also appreciating in cost.
