It happened to Smith during KC's mid-season lull. Teams starting running a cover 2...and for what ever reason, Smith had trouble adapting. He look like garbage for over a month.

Oh noes! Let me ask a question... would you prefer a QB like Blake Bortles over Keenum? Don't answer as a KC fan hating Denver, but if you had to pick - which would you take to lead your team?
Blake has put up pretty consistent numbers the last few years - tape is out there. Yes, the Jags have had issues, but Blake's numbers have been pretty good based upon the talent around him.
Am I trying to draw some comparison between the two teams? No, just looking at this from the "it's on tape" narrative. I think Keenum and Bortles are in that pool of QBs that are kinda "meh", but they can still perform.
So, yeah - he's not an uknown. Keenum isn't perfect... does that mean he can't produce and the offense can't put them in a position to win with a strong performance by the defense?
