Unless you think Mayfield or Darnold are the kind of HoF talents the AFC has had falling out of trees the last 15 years (I damn sure don't), there's nobody on the horizon to match him.
The long-term QB talents are in the NFC in Wentz and maybe Goff (frankly, that's gonna be a McVay creation but a monster nontheless). Watson doesn't scare me at all, nor does Lamar Jackson. This really could be one of those runs where the Chiefs play in 6-7 AFC championship games over the next decade and walk away with a couple of rings with even mediocre luck. Just keep Mahomes healthy and the future is ours...
