Bingo, Mike Tomlin is successful because he went to a ready made team and has a front office that has still found him players.

If he had had the experience most new HC's have where he was hired by some team picking top 5 coming off a 3-13 year he'd probably be a position coach again who hadn't HCd in years and had some token Rooney interviews.

Also for a guy who was a DB coach he really knows shit about defense.
