Yeah - I knew there was a reason. What a standup move by the guy to put his client's well-being ahead of his raw draft stock. He could've leaked the Chiefs interest to get teams looking to trade up to 5-6 and get him. That soups up his signing bonus and puts more money immediately in Steinberg's pocket.
Instead he recognized just how perfect the situation in KC was for his guy and kept that information under his hat. Really not something I'd expect out of an agent and pretty damn commendable.

A. That story is obv bullshit. No way you believ it.
B. If it was true it's malpractice and Leigh would be sued. You can't possibly **know** what situation is best for a player. What if gojng to Chicago was better for Mahomes? What if playing in a huge market with a great defense ended up being better than in KC?
