Let’s play with hypotheticals here.
It’s January. The Chiefs are hosting the AFC Championship game (or on the road, whatever), and they’re playing New England (because that’s always the safe assumption).
We can either try to defend Gronk, Gordon, and Edelman with what we have.. or we CAN defend them with the addition of Thomas and Berry. They’d be able to limit Gronk IMO, Fuller can match up with Edelman, and we can keep Earl deep with an eye on Gordon.
Idk, I know it’s a little early, but I’m just trying to think big picture. It might really make the difference this season. Cause even then, if you play the Rams in the SB, Earl can stay over top of Cooks. He’s just a big time eraser back there of big plays.
