It is. Realize that Veach is trying to get Earl Thomas. He has until 10/30 to make it happen. That’s 5 weeks.

I think it is very possible that he’s trying to force Seattle to give a good deal. Depending on how things go, I would not be surprised to see Veach pull the trigger on 10/30.
