It might cost a late 1st or a couple of late 2nds. Those picks have very little worth to me. I don't have any desire to see another Dee Ford, KPass, or Speaks drafted. Complete waste of time since they'll be ready to play about the time Mahomes is looking for a big payday (which I wouldn't at all be surprised if they Chiefs didn't pay, by the way).
And it's not my money, it's Clark's. The salary cap is an excuse teams use when they don't want to take risks. Teams that want players find ways to get it done.

Veach has done exactly that, sometimes even overpaying. He's either just doing his due diligence or the Seahawks asking price is so high it's not worth it.
